Following the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemics in the EU Member States and reports and recommendations published published by the WHO, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the ECDC, on 7th April 202 EASA has issued the Safety Information Bulletin (SIB), providing recommendations to the NAAs, Commercial Air Transport Operators (CAT) Aeroplane – Emergency Medical Service (A-EMS) Operators and Aerodrome operators in order to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 virus.
Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo has closely observed EASA recommendation for the latest developments in regards to COVID-19 outbreak and in particular the latest guidelines and recommendations issued by the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health.
In this context, having in mind the fact that the Republic of Kosovo is the signatory party to the European Common Aviation Area Agreement (ECAA), the Civil Aviation Authority informs all Air Operators that such measures are applicable in the Republis of Kosovo as of 15 April 2020.
