Continuing Airworthiness

In order to make sure that an aircraft is in a condition for safe operation, its airworthiness has to be continuously monitored. This concept is called “continuing airworthiness“. Depending on the purpose for which the aircraft is used, continuing airworthiness can be managed by:

  • an airline or individual organization,
  • an aircraft owner/user.

Airline or individual continuing airworthiness management organization have to be approved by the CAAK in line with the requirements set forth in Regulation No. 07/2015 (EC Reg. 1321/2014)
