News The newly appointed CEO of “Limak Kosovo International Airport” Mr. Hakan Öztürk visits the Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo, presenting a new era of cooperation and development of the airport

On Friday, January 12, 2024, the Acting Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority, Mr. Alban Ramabaja, together with the Director of the Aerodromes Department, Mr. Burim Dinarama, welcomed the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of “Limak Kosovo International Airport” – LKIA, Mr. Hakan Öztürk, together with the Financial Director, Mr. Gokhan Acikgöz, in the premises of the Civil Aviation Authority. The visit marked the beginning of an era of increased cooperation between LKIA and CAAK.

During the visit, Mr. Hakan Öztürk introduced himself and expressed their enthusiasm for the opportunity to work closely with the Civil Aviation Authority and the importance of the partnership between the airport and the regulatory body, to promote growth, innovation and safety in the aviation sector.

In this meeting, Mr. Öztürk presented to CAAK their objectives to further increase the capacity and operational efficiency of the airport in this period when the number of passengers is constantly increasing, to order to improve the passenger experience and ensure the highest standards of safety and security at Prishtina International Airport “Adem Jashari”.

The visit also provided an opportunity for Mr. Hakan Öztürk to become familiar with the ongoing processes of the Civil Aviation Authority, gaining a deeper understanding of LKIA’s obligations in terms of regulatory legislation and the compliance of Prishtina International Airport “Adem Jashari” with standards and the collective success of the aviation industry.

Mr. Öztürk and Mr. Acikgöz expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and congratulated the Civil Aviation Authority for our commitment to maintaining high industry standards.
