News CAA has certified ANSA

On August 19 the Civil Aviation Authority has certified based on EU standards the Air Navigation Services Agency (ANSA) as the provider of air navigation services in the Republic of Kosovo.

Under Article 78 of Law No. 03/L-051 on Civil Aviation and safety, economic sustainability and security criteria stemming out of Regulations No. 9/2009 and 7/2012, which transpose into the internal legal order of the Republic of Kosovo Regulation (EC) No. 550/2004 and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1035/2011 respectively, CAA certified ANSA as an organisation for the provision of air navigation services for ATS, CNS, AIS and MET services.

The certification process started in 2011 and during this period the CAA conducted thirteen audits of this organisation.

CAA Director, Mr. Dritan Gjonbalaj, congratulated ANSA staff for the cooperation provided to the CAA during the certification process.
