Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority on 28 March 2017 signed Regulation no. 1/2017 for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The purpose of this Regulation is the regulation of aviation activities related to Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operating in the airspace of the Republic of Kosovo and developing and facilitating the UAS activities while providing acceptable conditions for safe operation. This Regulation entered into force on 12 April 2017.
